On the 18th May, as part of the Shine 2012 event, 61 dancers from Brookfield Community School took part in Big Dance Schools Pledge, setting out to beat the world record for people performing a dance routine at the same time. The dance is inspired by the 2012 games and choreographed by Wayne McGregor CBE. The official announcement on the world record will be announced in June. Nia Yule, dance teacher from Brookfield said 'The students had a fabulous day and I think will always remember this momentous occasion'.
